Precious artwork, handled with care
Every drawing, painting and handprint sent to Tiny Keep Studio holds part of your child’s story. We carefully record, protect and handle all submitted artwork throughout the commission process.
Shipping & Artwork Handling
TinyKeep Studio operates as a private home-based studio in Mellieħa, Malta. Artwork handovers and completed-order collections are available by appointment only.
Local artwork handover
Customers may deliver their children’s artwork to Tiny Keep Studio in Mellieħa at an agreed appointment time.
Before production begins, all submitted pieces are recorded and photographed. This helps us keep track of your collection and identify the artwork selected for the final composition.
Please do not arrive without an appointment, as Tiny Keep Studio is not a walk-in retail location.
Sending artwork from Malta or Gozo
Tracked delivery may be arranged for customers across Malta and Gozo.
Before sending original artwork, please:
- place the drawings inside a protective folder or envelope
- keep artwork flat wherever possible
- protect delicate paintings, raised details or fragile materials
- avoid folding, rolling or using adhesive tape directly on the artwork
- clearly include your name and order reference
Delivery arrangements and costs will be confirmed before the artwork is sent.
What happens to the original artwork?
Unused artwork
Any original artwork that is not selected for the final piece will be returned to you with your completed order.
Unused artwork will be returned in the condition in which it was received, allowing for normal handling during the selection and composition process.
Original Artwork Collages
For an Original Artwork Collage, selected sections of your child’s drawings are carefully cut, arranged and permanently incorporated into the finished framed artwork.
Any original pieces used in the collage cannot be returned in their original form because they become part of the completed composition.
Not every submitted drawing will necessarily be used. The final selection depends on colour, scale, balance and the overall design.
Before work begins, you may tell us which drawings or details are especially meaningful and which colours you would like to feature most prominently.
Irreplaceable or highly sentimental artwork
Please avoid sending an original piece that you would be deeply upset to lose, alter or damage.
For especially precious artwork, we recommend sending a clear, high-resolution photograph or scan instead. Tiny Keep Studio can then create a digital artwork transformation or use a reproduced version while the original remains safely with you.
This option is particularly suitable for milestone drawings, first handprints, school certificates and artwork with strong sentimental value.
Returning completed orders
Completed physical artwork may be:
- collected from Mellieħa by appointment
- delivered within Malta or Gozo using an agreed tracked service
- returned together with any unused original artwork
Large framed pieces may require specialist packaging or collection because of their size and fragility. These arrangements will be confirmed in your quotation.
Packaging and delivery responsibility
Tiny Keep Studio takes care when preparing completed artwork for collection or delivery. However, delivery services are operated by third-party providers.
Any visible damage to a delivered parcel should be photographed immediately, including the outer packaging, before the artwork is removed. Please contact Tiny Keep Studio as soon as possible so the issue can be reviewed.
Questions before sending artwork?
Please contact Tiny Keep Studio before posting or delivering original artwork. We will confirm the safest handover method based on the size, quantity and type of artwork included in your commission.
Your child’s creativity deserves to be handled with care.
